Olde Good Things are the Best Things

Antiquing at its finest - if you have never experienced the magic of Olde Good Things in downtown Los Angeles on Grand you are missing a gem.

A trunk to fill with fluffy blankets, a patio set to turn a garden into an enchanting space, and a shabby chic little table because why not?

I love the forest green of the chairs - I can only imagine how a new upholstery would make them pop. For the tin work on the mirror, the shop excavates old industrial spaces in NYC and Chicago and uses the old tin ceiling tiles to create new and interesting pieces that tell a tale (my favorite kind!). The secretary desk is just cool.

Decades of mischievous children have carved notes to one another on the assortment of antique school desks the shop carries.
A bath tub chair with claw feet? Really? That's fantastic.

I am truly my mother's daughter - we could get lost in an antique shop for days and as a matter of fact we did just that when we visited Olde Good Things.
