F**king Hell

A German company has won the rights to brew Fucking Hell beer, named after the German town of Fucking and a term for a light ale, "hell." In 2004, the town of Fucking had the option to change its name—so many of its signs were being stolen—but residents of the ancient city voted against it. (Via The Morning News.)

The "Fucking Hell" trademark may raise eyebrows in the Anglo-Saxon world, but it has a genuine meaning in German because "Hell" can be a term for light ale in Austria and southern Germany. So "Fucking Hell" could refer to a light ale from Fucking.
