in need of some shades

I'm in the market for some new shades.  Traditionally, I don't like to spend more than $10 on a pair of sunglasses because I am too paranoid about sitting down on the couch and crushing them or tossing them in my purse without thinking about it and scratching the lenses.... But perhaps they would be worth the investment if I found just the right pair?  Here is some inspiration -
