Here are some "before" and "after" shots that I have found particularly inspiring lately... The first three from Design*Sponge and the fourth from Cupcakes and Cashmere. I loved how easy (yet dramatic) the candlestick transformation was - so this past weekend I tried it out for myself with very satisfying results... despite the fact that I missed the candlestick and ended up inadvertently spray painting my deck. Oops! I love how these "before" and "after"(s) gave these old furniture pieces a new lease on life - they went from quite ordinary to remarkable!
