"unfinished" perfection

LOVE it?

. . . or HATE it?

Came across this interesting paint job on Apartment Therapy - I love the neutral palette and the overall look. Personally, I am very drawn to the "unfinished" blue paint that starts on the ceiling and comes down a third onto the wall, but who knows if it would look as whimsical in real life?? I have a feeling it would look more like I hate to paint rooms and gave up (which is also a real possibility).
